Cyberpunk 2077 officially returns to the PlayStation Store
CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has officially returned to the PlayStation Store, alongside the game’s latest patch.
In a tweet, the studio reminded players that the game is playable on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and a free next-gen upgrade is still coming in the second half of 2021. Users, however, “may continue to experience some performance issues with the PS4 edition while we continue to improve stability across all platforms.”
As indicated last week, players are being encouraged by both the game’s official Twitter and the PlayStation Twitter that playing on a PlayStation 4 Pro or PlayStation 5 console will get them the best experience.
Cyberpunk 2077 returns to the PlayStation Store just in time for patch 1.23 which dropped over the weekend. The update includes several quest-specific fixes, fixes for Johnny Silverhand’s spectral appearances, and various console optimizations to name a few. You can read the full patch notes for the update over on the game’s official website.
